On the 1-3 September we invited our owners together in a pretty bush camp at Towitta on the outskirts of the Barossa for our first Owners Muster. They came from far and wide, with a cross section of campers that we’d sold since our inception back in 2014 including Pioneer, Rhinomax, Pod Trailer, 3 Dog and Backtrax Campers. Scott Forbes, the National Sales Manager for Pioneer Campers, trekked across from Victoria in his Mitchell and Peter & Brenda weren’t far behind in their Rhinomax Discovery.
The event coincided with the Barossa Gourmet Weekend which gave attendees the option of sampling some of the local produce including wine, craft beer, super fresh vegies, cheese and more.
Attendees shared knowledge about their campers, owner modifications, past and future trips. A campfire was held each evening with everyone joining in to share the highlights of the day.
The weather was good for the most part with sunny days on Fri and Sat, although a huge storm came through on Saturday evening. We woke the next morning to investigate the casualties. Apart from a couple of bent tent poles, we escaped largely unscathed, not bad considering the wild weather.
It was a fun weekend and reinforced the need for future gatherings. Sue encapsulated the moment when she said “We had a fantastic time and we can’t wait for the next one!” Neither can we. Hope you can join us too!
