Interior Comfort

Inside, the Argyle is a comfortable place to be, sheltered from the elements by premium Australian canvas. A large double bed with dual layer mattress awaits on a breathable slatted base. Outer visibility is excellent with clear café blinds around the bed providing good natural light when the it’s wet outside.
The bed is flanked by reading lights on flexible storks. There’s also a courtesy light and step at the foot of the bed to safely guide you into bed at night. 240V, 12V and USB sockets are also located there for convenient access to power your devices.
Over 500L of storage is available under the bed for your personal items. The bed pivots upwards on gas struts for improved access. This area is accessible through the rear boot when the camper is closed.

Like all Pioneer Campers, the Argyle scores a quality stainless roll-out kitchen with twin burner gas stove and glass splashback, cutlery drawer, food preparation area and sink with tap. A pantry bin to the rear caters for your other cooking essentials.
Lighting is supplied by a  LED touch light over the kitchen and there are 240V and 12V sockets nearby for additional lighting or other appliances.

Canvas, Roof and Flooring

Premium Australian-made Wax Converters Textiles canvas is used. The tent roof is Dynaproofed to 14.9Oz and walls to 10.9Oz. Midge and mosquito mesh screens on all doors and windows keep the interior itch-free.
The hard floor design keeps the floor off the ground, so you don’t need to worry about mud, water, dirt or other creepy crawlies getting in. Floorboard vinyl finish not only looks good but will stand up against the worst the outback can throw at it.

Custom Paintwork and Canvas

In addition to the standard two-tone Periwinkle over black bodywork and dark grey canvas colours, you can choose from a pre-selected range for the ultimate customisation experience. See the camper configurator to check the various combinations.

Ease of Use

The Argyle is a cinch to setup. The modest 1.6 x 2.2m hard floor can be folded over by hand without the assistance of a winch. Gas struts ease the floor to the ground for safety. Everything about the Argyle is engineered for ease of use. From the lift-up bed to access storage, the roll out stainless kitchen and the integrated electrics.

A 60L stainless steel, baffled water tank with 12V pump supplies water to the kitchen. A 90L tank upgrade is available, as is an optional second tank of 60L. A hand pump conveniently located near the draw bar provides easy access during roadside stops.

Power, Lighting and Solar

The Pioneer Argyle has one of the best power systems on the market for an entry level camper. It boasts both 240V and 12V systems with safety switch and items separately fused. A 10A 240V charger primes the 110Ah AGM battery when connected to mains or generator power. There’s also a 12V 15A DC-DC charger to maximise alternator power, providing 100% charge to the camper battery using a stepped charging profile.
Supplementing those inputs, a dedicated solar socket provides easy charging from a portable solar panel (sold separately). This system ensures you get full utilisation from the available resources.

Body, Chassis and Suspension

The Argyle comes standard with a hot dipped galvanized chassis for extreme off-road conditions. It rides on a fully independent trailing arm suspension rated to 1600 kg, with a Trigg coupling for off road use.
