Being a hard floor camper means setting up for the night is easy. A front mounted winch helps guide the floor safely to the ground. An optional mechanical lift with dual gearbox takes ease of use to a new level. Simply turn the key and the floor pivots open or closed revealing a huge interior footprint of 1.7 by 5.3 meters.

Batteries, Power, Lighting & Solar
The Pioneer Onyx has one of the best power systems in its class. It boasts both 240V and 12V systems with safety switch, separate fusing and a Redarc Battery Management System to take all the guesswork out of battery management.
The Redarc system monitors both inputs and outputs from the dual 110Ah AGM deep cycle batteries via a display panel, guiding you on power availability based on the discharge rate.
15A 240V and DC-DC 12V chargers are standard as is an isolator to the towing vehicle, to prevent accidental discharge of the starting battery. Supplementing these inputs, a dedicated solar socket feeds directly to a multi power point tracking (MPPT) solar regulator to extract the most charge from the available solar rays. This system ensures you get full utilisation from the available resources.
Body, Chassis, Suspension
The Onyx comes standard with a hot dipped galvanized chassis with rear receiver. This can be used for recoveries or attaching a bike rack. The chassis rides on fully independent trailing arm coil suspension with shock absorbers. An off road Hitchmaster DO35 drop on coupling keeps everything shipshape.
