BRS Offroad Sherpa
The award-winning BRS Offroad Sherpa mini hybrid is destined to reshape the off road camper trailer market.
Using a teardrop shaped, high clearance hard shell body, the Sherpa is the ultimate adventure camper for those seeking a tough, light weight and well-configured camper to explore the most remote outback posts. Premium components add new levels of comforts not seen in this class before, such as a HD TV/DVD player and aerial, Lithium power and management systems, diesel hot water/cabin heater, star gazing window, Fusion stereo, twin Sirocco fans, 270 degree Shadow Awning, and more. There’s even a shower with a drop down ensuite and a rear kitchen with twin drawer fridges.
Setup is a breeze thanks to that hard shell body. Simply jump into bed for a quick overnighter, or for longer stays, whip out the AluCab Shadow awning providing protection over the rear kitchen and the side of the camper. Optional canvas or mesh walls extend the living area.
Proudly Australian-made, it’s made for those who want the best. If that sounds like you, then get in touch!
To reduce weight, the Sherpa uses a single main beam from the tow hitch to the rear recovery point. It’s supported by lateral beams, hot dipped galvanised, and an aluminium sub-chassis. Vehicle Components Cruisemaster XT independent coil suspension with dual shockers per wheel massages out the bumps and 10” electric brakes wash off speed. Clearance is best in class!
The lower body is marine grade alloy plate, like that used in offshore fishing boats, built to take the battering of the ocean. The upper body is a one-piece composite fibreglass cone. It’s all finished in a Raptor stone resistant finish with laser cut orange skeletal and highlight trims.
An Alu-Cab roof tent is available as an option if you need to accommodate more than two people, increasing the appeal for kids who love the cubby house-like lodgings.
The interior is purely functional managing entertainment and comfort. Beyond the queen size mattress, fully upholstered backrests are built into the rear of the unit so you can sit up and watch a DVD on the 21” HD TV, built into the front cabinet. Comforts are plentiful and include a diesel space heater, Fusion stereo, a magnificent star gazing moonroof and more. There’s plenty pf USB and 12V points to charge or run all your technology.
The ease of use continues outside, with an Alu-Cab Shadow wrap-around awning to cover the side and rear of the camper. A QuickPitch ensuite is used for showering, toilet duties and as a change room, while hot and cold water services the ensuite and kitchen areas.
Up front, a toolbox swallows the battery, power management, diesel heater/hot water system and there’s two jerry can holders, one per side. An additional cupboard holds the spare wheel and levelling planks.
Optional walls are available for the awning.
The kitchen is to the rear of the unit and opens like a car boot for easy access at roadside stops. It includes a drop-down crockery drawer, dual 30L compressor drawer fridges, food prep bench, fuel stove, silicon washtub and a hot/cold flexi mixer tap.
Providing an extensive range, a 200L water bladder lives in a custom void within the camper. Located in the body, it’s well protected from external snags and offers a slipstream ride unlike a normal protruding tank.
The camper runs on a 125Ah Lithium battery which is smaller, lighter and offers much better utilisation than a standard AGM battery. 240V and DC DC chargers plus a roof mounted 200W solar panel keep the battery juiced up and battery management monitors both incoming and outgoing charge.
